Which category does my insurer want?
Ask your insurer whether they require Thatcham S5 or S7. If you're unsure, tell us the make and model and we'll tell you what insurers typically require for that vehicle — and price the options.
Is there a subscription?
Monitored systems carry an annual subscription for the 24/7 control room and app services. Some packages include the first year in the fitted price — we'll be straight with you about the ongoing costs before you commit.
How fast will my car be recovered?
Monitored systems alert the control room within seconds of unauthorised movement. They liaise with police directly, and most recoveries happen within hours — the faster the alert, the better the odds.
Do I still need a Ghost immobiliser if I have a tracker?
They do different jobs. A tracker helps recover the car after it's gone; a Ghost stops it being driven away in the first place. Many customers fit both — that's why the current Ghost offer includes a free tracker.
