01How the Ghost 2 works
The Ghost is wired into the vehicle's CanBus network with no aftermarket boxes, fobs or LED signals to give it away. To start the engine, you enter your unique PIN using the buttons that are already in your car — on the steering wheel, dash or doors. You can set a sequence of up to 20 presses, and you can add or remove the PIN yourself at any time.

Will a Ghost immobiliser affect my warranty?
No. The Ghost connects to the CanBus without cutting or splicing critical wires, so your manufacturer warranty stays intact. It's also fully reversible if you ever want it removed.
What happens if I forget my PIN?
You set your own PIN at the install, and there's a secure service mode so you can change or recover it. We also register your install, and aftercare is just a phone call away — you're never locked out on your own.
Does it stop relay theft?
Yes. Relay theft gets the thief into the car, but without your PIN sequence the engine will not start. The car simply cannot be driven away, even with the original key.
How long does fitting take?
Most Ghost installs take around two to three hours, done at your home or workplace. We'll give you a arrival window and keep you informed, as our reviews mention.
Is it recognised by insurance companies?
The Autowatch Ghost is TASSA approved. Many insurers offer discounts for TASSA-approved immobilisers — check with your provider, and we supply documentation of your install.
